Lymphoma is quickly becoming one of the more common types of cancer in many Western countries including the UK, America, Germany and Australia. It affects both sexes however men are unfortunately more susceptible than women. The reason for this is still to be discovered.
Although lymphoma is generally thought of as a disease that affects old people in preference to the young this is not strictly true. Case studies have shown that people between the age of 25 and 35 are also prone to the disease and although it does more often than not affect the over 60s this doesn't mean that younger people exempt.
